Modern Day Clothiers Launch OPINE Apparel

A parent company that owns and manages boutique clothing stores.

Daniel Sohn, a former city council member and chamber of commerce executive, and Kai Chan, a salesman and logistics manager for an overseas manufacturer and distributor, have formed the company to acquire and run boutique clothing stores under one roof, beginning with their own private label line.

“Kai and I spent our careers helping other people build their businesses,” said Daniel Sohn, co-owner. “OPINE is us building our own, the way we believe a clothing company should be run: store by store, brand by brand.”

“I worked on the making and moving side of products, getting product where it needed to go,” said Kai Chan, co-owner. “Now we choose the product, the stores, and the standard. That is the part I have been waiting for.”
